CEEQUAL, the Assessment and Awards
scheme for improving sustainability in civil engineering,
infrastructure, landscaping and the public realm – celebrating
the achievement of high environmental and social performance.
It is available in three forms:
CEEQUAL for UK and
Ireland Projects
CEEQUAL for International
Projects
CEEQUAL
for Term Contracts
Each is an evidence-based achievement award, rather than
the result of a competition, and can be applied for at any
time.
CEEQUAL:
- promotes and delivers improved sustainability in project
specification, design and construction
- demonstrates the commitment of the civil engineering industry
to environmental quality
- guides teams throughout their work on the sustainability-driven
issues they face and how to tackle them
- rigorously assesses performance on management and in 12
areas of environmental and social concern.
Version 5
The new version completes CEEQUAL’s
progression from environmental assessment and awards
to a sustainability assessment and awards scheme, and
builds on our 8 years of experience in operating and
developing the tool. Click

- seeks to undertake its work in an ethical and sustainable
manner
- acts in a socially and environmentally responsible way
- actively seeks to protect and enhance the environment
- is concerned about the major impacts of civil engineering
and public realm works on their neighbours, the environment,
the earth’s resources and on quality of life.
