CEEQUAL Excellent (82.3%) – Interim Client and Design Award
Version 5, May 2014 | London, England
Assessor: Eric Woodgate
The Kidbrooke Village project involves the total regeneration of the former Kidbrooke Ferrier Estate and surrounding areas into a vibrant sustainable new London suburb. This will be delivered in partnership with the London Borough of Greenwich, English Partnership (what is now the HCA) and local community involvement.
Kidbrooke Village Centre is located within the Kidbrooke Development area and is roughly 6.76 hectares. Phase 3 is a mixed-use development and will be the location of the majority of the community facilities for Kidbrooke Village. Phase 3.1 (the part that this CEEQUAL Assessment is considering) includes 196 residential units, two retail units, replacement railway station, public and private amenity space and a basement car park. Alongside parking, an energy centre and primary substation are located in the basement car park.
