About Us CEEQUAL is the assessment and awards scheme for improving sustainability in civil engineering and public realm projects. It is being promoted by the ICE and a group of committed industry organisations such as CIRIA, CECA and ACE. Its objective is to encourage the attainment of environmental excellence in civil engineering, and thus to deliver improved environmental and social performance in project specification, design and construction. Awards are made to projects in which the clients, designers and contractors go beyond the legal and environmental minima to achieve distinctive standards of performance.

CEEQUAL uses a rigorous points-scoring-based assessment, which is applicable to any civil engineering or public realm project and includes environmental and social aspects such as the use of water, energy and land, impacts on ecology, landscape, neighbours, archaeology, as well as waste minimisation and management, and community relations and amenity.

Visitors can use CEEQUAL's on line bookshop to register for Assessor training courses. Further details on this facility can be found in the 'Making a Purchase' section below.

Making A Purchase Click on the course you would like to register for and select 'buy now' to add it to the shopping cart. After you have finished making your selection(s), click on "CheckOut Now" and you will be asked for your name and address details and your preferred method of payment (this section includes options for both free and chargeable selections). You may either pay by credit card or request an invoice for you to issue payment against.

We accept Mastercard, Visa and American Express. All prices are in Pounds Sterling. If you are shopping from outside the UK by credit card, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency. Tax Charges For orders made from the UK or the European Union, VAT will be charged at the appropriate rate on all relevant registrations. VAT does not apply to purchases made from outside the European Union and where VAT charges appear you should click the exempt button to reduce VAT to zero.

Credit Card Security We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
Guarantee We guarantee your satisfaction. If you need to cancel your registruction, this must be received by CIRIA in writing within 10 days of the event for a refund minus a £75.00 administration charge. For cancellations received after this date no refund will be given but substitute delegates are welcome by notifying the CEEQUAL events team on 0207 549 3302 or via enquiries@ceequal.com.
